Iframe to mainpage

Hi all!

Is there a way to get the content of an iframe to show up in the main document?
i.e. preferably b4 loading, the content that's gonna show up in the iframe shud go to the main document & the iframe shud dissapear...

I have a form inside an iframe which gets submitted to an auth page where a password is entered. and then a redirection back to my URL occurs. I need only the authpage to show up in the iframe, and everyting from the redirection onwards to appear in the main browser window as normal.

The only pure HTML solution - use a borderless iframe and style the external page so that the contents look like they are a part of the top page.

Or, you could use javascript or javascript and Ajax to fetch the content of the page (if it is on the same domain as the top page) in the iframe to a division on the top page.
