Tell me what you think about that one (http://rambo.id.uw.edu.pl), and be honest about it :)

I really like that concept. The idea is fresh and really cool, to be quite honest.
The images leave a little to be desired, they give me a Win 3.x shudder.
There is a lot going on all a once and unless I know what I am doing I feel lost in there.
If you could clean up the images, maybe a little less pixel-y and add tool tips to everything I can click on, it would help me not feel so helpless.
I do really enjoy it though, I just wish I knew what the hell was going on :p

Hi, thanks for comments- as for images: the look is intentional, that's how an Indigo Magic Desktop looks like (see Desktop thread), the tooltips are already there too.
Ah, btw, there are several easter eggs hidden on website too- try to find them
Very nice, but buggy in Konqueror, and breaks horribly in anything without Javascript. Always provide fallbacks!

You know what would be cool is another "system console" but to make it a shoutbox type thing where visitors can actually type in to your panel there. Don't know how well it would work on the main page (and I haven't looked all over the site, so if there is one I apologize) :)

point taken, though I'm surprised it breaks in konqueror, can you provide a screenshot? Given the one I was testing it was very old, it should just render some unwanted spaces- but that's it.
Javascript: admittably the great weakness of it, however not much fallback on that since most of the content is script-generated (like popping up "windows"). I just tried it though, and- well- it doesn't break as you just can't click on links :D

There's guestbook :D
I'm surprised it breaks in konqueror, can you provide a screenshot?I said that it was buggy, not that it broke. The focus doesn't work as it should, and things often appear halfway outside their windows (and get clipped).

Twey, I can't believe that you didn't mention that it uses HTML 4.01 Transitional!

XHTML, and that's because I had to revert to Iframes for IE has weak support of <object type="text/html">
Iframes were necessary for the script. It's not a page per se (more a "web application") so it gets special treatment. :)
The backup pages, however, should be Strict.
