Linux ..HELP!

Hi ...to everyone. I have a smoll problem, a coleg of mine exports a file ...can someone tell me how can i see what he exported. We bouth are using Linux operating system ...and i am the only one that can see what he exported ...but i do not know how.
Can someone ...please tell me!;)
