View Full Version : HVMenu: Rollover Stays on for the page your on

Hello,

I love HVMenu, and I know its not completely supported on these forums but what the heck.

I want the menu item rollover to stay on while I'm on that page. For example, if I'm on any page in the "About Us" section, I want the "About Us" rollover to stay lit.
I realize that I could do this by making a separate menu_var.js for every section, then changing the "about us" rollover from off to on. But that would make it agonizing to update in the future. Maybe I could do this by including a tag in my HTML file that overrides the rollover variable in my menu_var.js file?

Does anyone have any other ideas?

the later version of the menu have "RememberStatus" function. it might not be exactly what you want, but worth checking it out:

"RememberStatus" is almost exactly what I'm looking for, but not quite. I don't want the menu to be actually opened, just the image rollover to be activated. I do, however, love how the "remember" it is triggered by a flag in the content page:

<script type="text/javascript">var SetMenu="2_2_1";</script>
</head>

Any tips on maybe modifying the code so the menu doesn't pop up?
