I was being sarcastic about saying I was sarcastic when I said proper grammer and not grammar, although it was obviously a mistake on my behalf and I tried to cover it up with intended sarcasm. As you can see that didn't go over so well. :p

AI is amazing... but so incredibly complex when it comes down to it. I tampered with OpenGl/C++ for a little while, but I decided it was too beyond my level. Then I started just with Windows API C++, and I'm still learning now... I wish I was that good.
And also, what Twey said: what have you worked on?

AI is amazing... but so incredibly complex when it comes down to it. I tampered with OpenGl/C++ for a little while, but I decided it was too beyond my level.

Its only compelx when its not taught well. The problem with most AI departments is that the academics only want to research and not teach, and half the time can’t explain most of the terms they are describing however clever they might be.

My AI research has mainly grown in the field of neural networks, finished my PhD and Msc for Chem. and biological physical Chem. My AI research has now started to develop; I can see where allot of ANN PhD thesis have run in to walls.

But my AI research is fairly limited to Neural Nets at the moment.

- Its not clever to do or have done these things, its just having the experience, the qualifications, and knowing where to look to find out things. My head is big enough as it is! But almost every one has one or two degrees these days, often people stop there research there though.

Don’t let academics fool you, most of the cloning I have done in the past have been as simple as reacting mixture a with B and following the kits instructions, the theory behind most science is often quite simple to, just over encoded to make it look hard K.I.S.S - keep is simple silly!
