I am amazed at Fire Dogs (http://www.firedog.com) website, the simplicity of it and the coding.

I am a designer, and I am well versed in dreamweaver and all other software, but I cannot replicate what they have in firedog. Basically I want to have that same layout and code, obvioulsy with my own graphics and content. Can anyone help me? I need to know how they set up the tables to fit any screen and remain centered, especially the grey box at the bottom???

Don't think that has much to do with javascript and, there is only one table. It has left and right cells that contain only transparent .gifs but, that sort of layout could even be done without a table. Here's their first row:

<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="width: 100%;"><!-- BEGIN HEADER -->
<tr id="HeaderRow">
<td id="HdrLeft"><img src="image/spacer.gif" alt="" /></td>
<td id="HdrMain">
<div id="HeaderContent"><img src="image/header.jpg" alt="1-800-firedog available at Circuit City" width="975" height="106" border="0" usemap="#headerMap" /></div>
</td>
<td id="HdrRight"><img src="image/spacer.gif" alt="" /></td>
</tr>

Maybe ask them first if they'd want you to copy their work ?

I don't really think you meant me but, just in case - I only copied their first row as an example, like a book review. There is nothing special about a table with spacer images in it. In fact, it isn't even the best idea to begin with. As I said, that look could be gotten without any table.

It is a good question for hangman79 though. Why not come up with your own design or use a public domain template?

That site isn't very good -- it serves XHTML as HTML (invalid XHTML Trans at that), uses tables for layouts, and uses images as text (presumably due to the rollovers, which they also mucked up by not preloading the secondary images).

But the design's good (at least).

I meant indeed hangman 79: come up with a new, fresh, personal design. Don't copy; people worked on it. You can consider it stealing, but that was another thread a few months ago. Use your conscience.
