A couple of questions?

A few people have images next to their names (safe to call them avators?) in threads.
I wanted to do this and went to the cpanel and uploaded a "profile picture". This picture only shows up on my profile and not next to my name in posts.
I decided to do some investigating and went to peoples' profiles who had one, and they had two pictures in there; one next to their name, and one profile picture.
How do you get the one next to my name in threads?
I did notice one similarity: all the people with these "avators" to be master coders or elite coders.

Well, I am a regular code at this time, and I have an avator next to my name. I was able to do this after 150 posts and with the user title of "Teacher" before ddadmin changed the user titles. Not sure what the post limit is now.
