I am setting up a web site for the youth group of a church.

I am looking for some kind of a calendar whereby the coordinator of the youth group can go in and add "events" to the calendar. The calendar should show with all the days of the week. The coordinator is not web savvy and would need some simple way of updating the calendar.

I'm trying to hand off as much as I can so I'm not bogged down with all the updates.

I am currently working on a simple one right now. As soon as I finish with it, I will post it here.

That's a lot better looking then the one I'm working on, and the functionality is awesome.

Thanks Blizzard. I learned the code to make the calendar itself by looking at the tutorials on Zend, then took it a step further by adding the mysql stuff to it. Still need to change the colors of it, though (still using the color scheme from that tutorial). I had to edit the PHP code in the tutorial a good bit to actually get it functioning the way I wanted.

If you are still tweaking, are you going to add an "event addition" type thing? It would be nice if the days were clickable themselves and it could just show that day, or week.

Just an idea. I like it though :D

You know, I was going to add all of those things. I was even thinking about adding some more Javascripts in it for tooltips or something. Still thinking of ideas and accepting them here if you want to post them. Maybe even a color scheme (or selectable templates).
