I like to start a website like www.cheapflights.com and I wonder which script or software I should use.

You're certainly not going to just find a plug and play script for something as elaborate as this. Your best bet is perhaps to contract or hire someone to code it, such as by using Rentacoder.com or Elance.com.

And as for the question, a web design forum is the last place to be asking.
In short, use PHP and MySQL and it's not all that hard to make a database and such. http://php-mysql-tutorial.com

BUT... first.... go ask some airlines how to access their systems, sell their tickets and etc etc etc. If you do that, the coding will be easy in comparison.
