Simple Tree Menu: exand/collapse just with click on +/-

3) Describe problem:
Is there any chance to expand/collapse the menu just if I click on the +/- image? I understand that I need to move the images into the html code because it won't be possible if the image is a background-image but how has the code look like?

Nevertheless the script is great and fits my need for a great TYPO3 extension (open source cms) perfectly

Hmmm do you mean Switch Content script (http://dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/switchcontent.htm) instead? Simple Tree doesn't have the '+/-" images, just the open and close folders.

I am using the switch content menu and is great. But to my surprise when added more elements, the switch is not consistent. Inother words if I click on one element it is opening another after few clicks.
Please help.
