Can JavaScript Add Gamma effect on Images ?

I had searched the web and found some alpha effects, but i need Gamma (Blue=> More Blue, Red=> More Red ... etc).

In this link you'll find a big numbers of filters:

but no Gamma effect :(

if i make the effect from server side, then they have to upload/download it on every change in the effect.

Can JavaScript do it?

You can position a semitransparent element with a coloured background over the image.

Thanks for your replay, but it'll not give me Gamma Effect.
It just well take down the color, i mean it can't give them more color :(
