Gallery will not work

Hi I'm new to web designing. I have been using this site for help in building my website. Everything has worked fine untill I decided to add a gallery. I have downloaded code from here and they work fine when I preview them. The problem starts when I upload them to my server. It's always the same problem which is "'+which+'" or anything inside the + +. the server starts looking for this and can't find it. It then igores this and it stops the slideshow or whatever I have downloaded from working. Any help would be gratefully recieved
