1) Script Title:
Ultimate Fade-in slideshow

2) Script URL (on DD):
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/fadeinslideshow.htm

3) Describe problem:
I can't get this script to fade in Safari. It works fine in FF.

I have been through the various threads that make reference to the Ultimate Fade-in Slideshow and opacity and fading etc in Safari, but I can't find a solution to this problem.

I have checked out http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/showthread.php?p=31568#post31568 and used the script there (although, I think that the script on the DD site has probably updated since that thread).

I'm using Safari 2.0.4. Interestingly, the sample script at http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/fadeinslideshow.htm doesn't show the fade either. It simply flips through the images without the fade. This seems to indicate to me that it is something to do with my Safari?

I've been trying to get DD to fix that for ages:

Thanks, John. That's perfect! It's a shame that DD don't update it, as they state on http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/fadeinslideshow.htm that it works with Safari, but what they have there doesn't work properly.

Thanks for all the work on this great script.

Thanks here as well - integrated the few line changes into my wordpress plugin and now it works perfect under my Safari! :D
