Problem with <option> in <select>

Hi there!
I have a page with combo box. However when I open the page with Mozila Fierfox and the combo box is empty or there are just few option the scrolls are not disappearing. I found out that this have something to do with the browser and the way Fierfox adds or removes the options from the combo box. Is there anyway I could have my combo box without scrolls when I don’t need them?
