Hi guys,
I am not sure whether this is the right forum for my problem, but i hope somebody can help me. My pc is operation on Windows XP but I am using Firefox as my email client. Outlook is also installed but I never used it.
My problem is that, everytime i click on a javascript link that ususally called up the email client, the following message box will appear:

OUTLOOK.EXE - Ordinal Not Found
The ordinal 36 could not be located in the dynamic link library MAP132.dll

What should i do? Everytime i click on a link that call up the email client, I want the firefox compose box to come up.

Er... Firefox isn't an email client. It's a web browser.

Perhaps s/he means thunderbird? I have seen them used interchangably (sp?) before... not that makes it any more correct, of course.

hmmm yes i missed that part completely. I think he might be referring the read mail and write mail menu items which were there as a part of Tools Menus before Firefox 2.0.

He might be using Mozilla Thunderbird but I am just curious to know how he used a web browser as an email client

Yes, I meant Thunderbird. I am currently using Thunderbird version 1.5.
Any possible solution to my problem above? Thank you.

It could be that the Thunderbird client hasn't registered correctly as your default mail client, meaning that Outlook is still trying to load up, but failing to do so, you may want to make sure that Thunderbird is your default by making it check, there is an option for this in the settings/options menu... hope this helps you.

Start => Program Access & Defaults, I believe.

Start => Program Access & Defaults, I believe.
Or using Options > General > Default Settings within Thunderbird itself.

or one other solution could be to go Control Panel > Internet Options > Programs > then set the default email client in there.
