Script - Custom Cursor

I am tying to add a script that will create a custom cursor by changing my visitor's default cursor to a graphic of my choice.

My website is www.thecrayonboxkids.com (http://www.thecrayonboxkids.com) I would like for my visitors default cursor to change into a "crayon" whenever they visit my site. I did a search on DD and found a script for Custom Cursor which is supposed to do just that ...but it says you have to use a .cur instead of .gif or .jpeg. The link it provides to create a .cur doesn't work.

Does anyone know how to create a .cur or have any information on how else I might be able to achieve this effect on my website?

A google search is the best bet for an application that will do that. And though you could use any type of image as a cursor (even a gif, or jpeg) it would only work in IE6.
