Cool DHTML Tooltip II Help with form fields

I have been trying Cool DHTML Tool tip II and it works great. However, when a html drop-down select box is within the area of the ToolTip, the drop-down box appears above the tool tip instead of being hidden underneath it. I noticed this even if I coped the source of the sample page and inserted a drop-down. Is this just a known limitation? Is there a work around?

I have tried Tool tips that are invisible divs with fixed locations and are just made to be visible when a mouse over occurs; however those cause problem on FireFox when near any html form fields and interfere with the user interaction.

Any help or directions to a DHTML ToolTip solution that will work with HTML form elements would be appreciated.
