Need to disable document while a div popup is made

Hi All,

Have you seen google spreadsheets.

When I click on File - > Open (not our IE File open) The PopUp is active while the background is blurred and disabled. How to get this effect done.

Please advice.

Please have a look at google spreadsheets. The information window that comes blurs the background and disables the objects.

Can you please suggest some tricks

I haven't checked out Google Spreadsheets yet, though I think I have a good idea what you're talking about. Basically you're looking for a DHTML modal window type script. Check out:
