Tab Content Script Question

This is a great script. My question is can I create a link on an external page that allows a specific tab to be open when the page is linked to? If I have tabbed content on page.htm, can I link to page.htm#tab=tab1 or something like this?

Thanks! That works great! I didn't see any posts about the tab script, and I didn't look for the Ajax version. Thanks for pointing that out.
