combining image map and anylink drop down menu

3) Describe problem:
I thought I was so clever to combine image mapping with the drop down menu, but when viewed in FF or NS the menus appear in the upper left hand corner and , even worst, disappears before you can click on a link. :eek:

:( It looks so cool, please, someone, tell me it can be fixed.

I decided I couldn't wait to find out if there is a solution to this problem. I just sort of slapped a table up instead. Looks about the same and works better. Kind of limits my page layout, but oh, well..... If anyone has a solution I'd be interested in hearing, but not a big hurry now.
