This is not a Forum issue, but a Public apology to John Scheuer
I was a tad drunk some 6 months ago, and made some stupid statements concerning his help with an advanced javascript issue regarding tweeking cMotion Gallery ...
Unfortunately I chose to do this publicly on this Forum, and I just wanted to address this issue by offering a pubic apology in the same media
Of course, like all men, I am a selfish *******, and I still need his personal help. Yup! I do not expect it, but this is my simple atonement for a maliferous statement I made concerning himself; as we have both endured a different life than the one we had expected - check his personal sites for greater understanding
As for a vote of confidence - well, I have wrestled with a cMotion a upgrade for approaching 6 months now, and I can understand about 80% of what I need to do. I have received much misinformation from many friends and computer geeks, who are simply unable to accept that it is the js file that needs appending to resolve my personal requests - ie, they don't understand it
John does understand this very clearly, and maybe this makes him a superman, and me a fool of course :-) Or maybe it just means that we are all just simply trying to get by with the help of good friends that understand what we are trying to accomplish in this short lifetime
