Map

Hi to all!

I run a small forum (cleaning related), what i would like is a map that would show where all our members are in the uk, if it was automated all the better!
in my brain the idea would be when a member registers then it would show up a map which other members can see, is this possible??,:confused:

Sure, take a look at Google Maps (http://www.google.com/apis/maps/)

If you happen to be running IPB (invision power board), there's a script called "membermap"... does exactly that.
Might be other scripts for other boards too.
If not, google would be a good option.... certainly a lot easier than coding your own.

We have just developed a tool called Aardvark Map (http://www.aardvarkmap.net) which works with Google Maps and allows you to create a custom map of your choosing very quickly and easily. It provides you with the code needed to embed the map in a web page or forum post. You can edit/add points at any time and generate new code.
