How to make a forum

why make ur own forum when there's ready made ones? :p

I don't usually recommend using other people's scripts. However, in the case of forums I make an exception. A forum (at least, a fully-featured forum) is an immensely complex and time-consuming project, and the chances are that whatever you make won't be as good as a pre-built one like phpBB (http://www.phpbb.com/) anyway.

PunBB (http://www.punbb.org/) in my opinion is the best, for free forums.
