I'm a lazy reader too, that's why I use text to speach. You can download a free one at: www.readplease.com
Just make sure that when you install it you choose the free version. Read the option as you install it and you'll see what I mean.
By the way, I gotta hand it to Twey because without him this forum would be nearly as good as it is.
Thank you Twey!!! It's so good having you around man!!! :)

Holy frick. I just read the list of sites that twey had posted and I was throughly amazed. Lots of questions that I had about CGI, Javascript, HTML, and others were answered from just one of the links I looked at. Major coolness points to twey for doing this. I think that people starting out should be directed here so they can find the answer themselves. Then they would remember it better. But thatnks alot twey for putting that up there, JF
Danke schön :) But I'm not entirely sure as to the copyright on all of them.

I need a good book on Win32 (C++) programming..
Define Win32 programming.
Use of windows.h?
GUI applications?
COM?
mburt
08-19-2006, 10:58 PM
Yes the use of #include <windows.h> header file.
Have a look at this: http://www.functionx.com/win32/
However, note that everything done with windows.h is platform-dependant, and will make porting your application a nightmare. It's also rather low-level, not offering the abstraction that can be achieved with a toolkit such as MFC or wxWidgets.
