Hello...

I found a few movies in .ram format that I would like to download but I'm not able to. Right click doesn't download the movies for some reason. What software would I need to capture these movies?

Thank You!!! :)

That's real media format.... and actually pretty good at stopping downloads.

Three ideas to try:
1. Look at the source code; see if that helps at all.

2. Look for the file in Temporary Internet Files.

3. Download what you can (I'm positive there is some way to get the file, even if right clicking is disabled), and look at the source code for the .ram file, or whatever it is. There are occasions when the file only stores a URL to load, so the .ram is basically just acting as a link.
The nice catch here is that usually the only thing readable in a format like video or images, audio, etc. is the URL that it's linking to. Just open it in notepad (right click, open with...) and look for anything that could be a URL, or anything at all that you can read, 'cause you won't be able to read much.
Likely, that's the file you're after :)

However.... I'm going to assume that there isn't any copyright violation here... just because you can download a movie doesn't mean it's ok. Then again, I do understand... downloading the same file over and over is just a pain, and there's a good chance no one will care. Your risk, though.

Hey it worked... :)

I download it and then openned it with notepad like you said and voila - there was the link! Strange thing is that it downloaded in .rm format rather then .ram but hey, it works! :p

Sweet... Many thanks... :)
