bookmarkable AjaxTabs [solution found]

I'm looking for a way to be able to bookmark loaded data with AjaxTabs

something like

url/index.jsp#section:home
url/index.jsp#section:contact

that kind of thing

so that on page load I can check to see if there is anything on the 'end' of the URL and use that to load the appropriate page

ideas?
