site not good in IE

My site (davidherzka.com) has problems in IE. I am a novice, so this is probably something very simple. In IE, the cells seem to not have a fixed size, so the site doesn't display correctly. It works in Opera, Firefox, and Safari. Can anybody help me find a solution to this problem?

You really shouldn't be using tables for layout in this day and age.
