Customized DTD Possible??

Can anyone tell me that can I place my custom DTDs in my HTML pages? I just learn DTD and I wish to place my DTD in my pages. I tried a lot to find out about this but I didn't succeed.:( I hope any of you experts would be happy to help.

No. XHTML is XML, and HTML is SGML, with certain DOCTYPE. If you change that DOCTYPE, it is no longer XHTML or HTML.
