View Full Version : CSS Placement rather than Tables

I am new to CSS and want to replace the tables in our web site www.protestantlawyersny.org with CSS for placement of the scripts that do the photo slide show menu bookmark, time, etc in the top banner, and do a 3 column layout in CSS for the site.

Forgive the newbie question, but once DIVs are set up for the 3-column layout and banner on top, what would be the way to use to place the javascript objects that do not show until the code is executed in the banner and other columns. Do I simply place them within the div's or do I make new div's with absolute positioning, or do I use position commands in the items themselves?

Thanks very much for your help.

Ideally, you should execute it in your onload event. Failing that, below the required code should work.
Your scroller is rather messed up in Firefox at least.
